Peter Strauss

Peter Strauss is founder and President of Health Planning Solutions. He has held executive level positions in health care for 25 years and has been a consultant to the health care industry for the past 15 years.

He served as Director of Planning for the Greater St. Louis Health Systems Agency, Vice President for Planning for St. John's Mercy Medical Center, Director of Network development for Managed Health Care Services, Senior Consultant with Hellmuth, Obata, and Kassabaum, and Managing Consultant and Associate Principal with Buck Consultants.

He specializes in strategic facilities planning, market feasibility work and medical staff analysis. He has developed a unique strategic planning process which links market analysis to physical facility planning. He has written several articles in various health care journals and newsletters and is a frequent speaker in local and national venues on health care topics.

Pete holds a BA from the Ohio State University and a Masters Degree in Management from Case-Western Reserve University.
