Sally J. Altman
Sally J.
Altman has worked in the managed health care field for
over 30 years. For the past fifteen years, she has consulted with
national employers, providers of health care, insurance companies,
and non-profit health and education organizations. Her work has
included strategic analysis and planning, legislative analysis,
network design, and contract negotiations for health care services
and fees.
Among other positions, from 1990-1995, Ms. Altman
was Vice President and head of the managed care practice for the
St. Louis-office of Aon Consulting Inc., an international employee
benefits consulting firm. From 1986-1990, she was Vice President
of Managed Health Care Services, Inc., where she was responsible
for the development and management of HMOs and PPOs in thirteen
cities in the Midwestern region of the United States. From 1983-1986,
Ms. Altman was Second Vice President at General American Life Insurance
Company, responsible for its health care cost containment department.
She directed the operations of a health care utilization management
company from 1974-1983.
Ms. Altman has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of
Public Health from The University of Michigan.
