Direct Contracting
Health Planning Solutions assists health care
providers in negotiating direct contracts for the provision of
health care services to
self-insured employers. The objective is to negotiate fair
and equitable arrangements on behalf of health care providers
that
result in additional sources of revenue, enhance market share,
and foster long term relationships with area employers.
First,
we conduct an analysis of your market to determine if opportunities
for direct contracting exist. We look at the relative strength
of health care network choices in the area available through
national, regional, and local vendors such as third party administrators
and
insurance carriers.
We then we develop a list of employer
marketing targets based on an examination of their current arrangements
and your existing
contracts.
Next, we work with you to design
a financial arrangement which
would meet your requirements while offering employers
an opportunity
for value purchasing.
Market testing then proceeds through
a series of discussions with target employers. If serious interest
is surfaced, we
will develop
a prototype contract which details the services to be offered,
pricing, and, if warranted, performance guarantees as well
as other contract
provisions.
Further negotiations take place
with interested employers and a contract is prepared for final sign
off.
